Bio

I was born on a Valentine’s day in a town about an hour north of Detroit, but moved to North Carolina when I was still pretty young. I grew up in the town that Jack Kerouac, Thelonius Monk, and John Coltrane all left at one time or another — Rocky Mount, NC. I went to UNC Chapel Hill, where I studied physics, because it seemed like a good idea at the time. I currently work for a software company outside of Washington DC. I play more than 10 musical instruments, draw compulsively, and hope to one day be the 3rd most popular writer on Earth (mainly because I don’t want to be mobbed in airports like JK Rowling and Moses).
